"The case is great, but I bought it with the sole intention of ordering a custom cut foam insert to go in it. When I went to go make one up on the website, it turns out they don’t offer that option through Pelican and I have to go through a third party dealer to facilitate getting one made. I guess it’s my bad for assuming that the option was a a salable for ALL their cases."

"Case is fantastic but it does not fit my rifle as configured. Case not wide enough with scope mounted in place and once sited in not gonna remove for transport. Other than that length was perfect just needs to be wider and gonna be a difficult one to locate."

"Like all Pelican cases, the iM3400 is great for protecting whatever you put in it. However, Quality Control is lacking in that mine showed up with a large scratch right next to the carry handle. The scratch did NOT happen during shipment. It was obviously there before the case was boxed."
"I love this case. It is perfect for protecting my Sharps and Remington Rolling Block rifles to the range (I have two cases). You could pay more but I dont see how they could be protected any better."

"It’s a great case, but I didn’t read the dimensions correctly and had to send it back. It wouldn’t fit my rifle with scope on it. But that’s my fault otherwise a great case."
"Removing a star since there are not pop-outs for the foam layers. The case is sturdy, but at the price, youd expect a layer of pop-out foam. If youre using this for a . 50 cal, youll likely need to remove the scope if you have one to store it. Not many cases out there that are 52+ inches, so this may be one of your only choices."
