7600 Review

"It’s kinda early to review as I haven’t had the light that long, but right out of the gate I’m experiencing some disappointment. The light doesn’t perform up to the advertised specs. It seems to fall about an hour short of battery life specs. I was thinking I may be able to live with that since I don’t use the light for more than a few minutes at a time. If it will keep a decent charge as it sits mostly unused in my flight bag for an extended time, perhaps I can make it work. However, early indications lean to that not being the case though. I let the light sit for about a week after a full charge before turning it on. Immediately it showed an amber battery condition. What happened to my green full charge? Pretty quickly I had a red status and soon after that flashing red. The light worked only for about two hours. I need a light that will hold a charge in storage for several weeks. As a reference, I have been using a 2410 with disposable batteries that I’d change about once a year and that has been working fine for me. I think the light is well made and the amount of light on high is incredible! However, if it’s just another device that I have to constantly charge I don’t think see a reason to keep it."

Everyday use

"Very happy with light. Purchased two. Pricy but love the brightness. Company gifted first one as bonus. Rechargeable battery was on back order for a while but finally got one also pricy. This isnt Eveready disposeable battery junk."

Pelican 7600

"Great Light! Nice compact size. Battery doesn’t take long to charge. I have gone days without charging. I love the pelican lights! Best light to have apart of your duty belt!"

Doesn’t charge

"It worked fine for 4 months. Now it didn’t charge. It’s too expensive to only last 4 months."
