Ice cold for a week!
"Added it to our collection of coolers! We have the 50qt also and a little 14qt. Add a couple of the freezer packs and you’ll have ice cold drinks all week long! The baskets are great if you want some stuff to stay out of the ice but cold. We’ve done vacuum sealed foods for trips and that works wonderfully."

Faulty cooler received
"Used it the first time and the outer seal ring on the drain plug leaks. Didnt realized this until I out freshly caught fish and the water leaked all over my kitchen when I brought it home. Had to return it. It did keep the fish really cold with what little ice I put in there so luckily it wasn’t too ugly of a leak to clean up. Had to return it. Would still like to order another one."

White / Cement 70qt
"This is my second Pelican in this size and have nothing but good things to say. I use them out in West Texas in hundred plus degree heat and the ice keeps for several days. I had one of the fillers develope a leak at the drain assembly. Called Pelican and they sent a new assembly out no questions asked and free of charge."

Pelican 70-Quart Elite Cooler Review
"I really like this cooler. Upgrading from a 45-quart to the 70-quart has been a game-changer—far more functional and practical. The 70 actually holds enough ice to stay cold for days and has the capacity to make it worthwhile. I can load it with a 24-pack of bottled water plus a dozen soft drinks and be set for a couple of days without thinking twice. I use large ice molds to pre-chill and maintain temps, swapping them out every couple of days and draining water as needed. Even in 100+ degree Texas heat, riding in the back of my truck nonstop for three weeks, this cooler hasn’t let me down once. Ice longevity is on par with what I’ve seen from YETI and RTIC—but in every way that matters, the Pelican is better. The build quality is rock-solid, yet in my estimation, it feels lighter than both YETI and RTIC coolers—even the smaller RTICs. That difference in weight makes a huge difference when it’s fully loaded. But what really separates it is the seal. Every day I run my truck through the car wash, and with my past YETI and RTICs, the seal would break—I’d end up with soap, dirt, and drying spray inside my cooler. The Pelican hasn’t flinched once. It stays sealed, period. That’s a level of quality I never got from the others. I added a YETI tether to keep it locked down in the truck bed, and it’s been secure ever since. No complaints at all—it’s tough, dependable, keeps my drinks cold, and even takes to my sticker collection like a champ. Bottom line: after owning YETI and RTIC, I’d choose the Pelican every time."

Amazing cooler!
"Great quality. Held ice for about 7 days (with minimal opening). Must pre-chill cooler for about a day for the cooler to have this ice retention."

"Absolutely giddy about getting my 70QT Elite recently Thing is built like a tank and you will not be disappointed if you buy an Elite in any size Have not put it to an extreme test yet but so far it’s held up for several days keeping things ice cold off an 8 lb bag of ice and a couple of the ice blocks"
