Company's reputation is well earned

"Website was easy to navigate; ordering process was efficient, and the case was delivered very quickly. Easy to open and close; everything lines up and latches work smoothly. The foam is dense but still easy to cut to shape with a sharp knife. Overall quality is top notch and the thing is bulletproof (figuratively speaking). As a consequence, it is quite heavy, so don't skimp on the workouts. Definitely worth the money."

So far ok. . :TBD. Current hard

"So far ok. . :TBD. Current hard case failed, don’t even recall the brand, maybe heavy Doskocil seal-tite?. . with corner crack after ~20 years of flights and general abuse…. But never a handle failure and rifles safe and sound survived everything… even with cracked corner. Most similar I could find was the Pelican, 1750 Protector long case, but arrived with one handle already disconnected? My guess is the case will be fine although lighter than the Doskocil, just imagine I will see it after a flight with missing or broken handle(s). Maybe the old fixed molded in handles on the long side maybe better? Time will tell. Pelican Warranty guy was great, filing a claim in the portal is nearly impossible… anyway warranty guy, I think Walter, was great. Hope I don’t need practice replacing handles. Looking forward to using it. …. Just a thought, maybe a regulation? 1750 has 4 lock holes and TSA (most) want a lock in every hole… so now 4, a case with just 2 but reinforced, so only needs 2 like older cases could be nice even if the case cost a little more$$, carrying around 4 locks vs 2 and maybe knuckle busters under the long handle, but I assume possibly 4 locks may look slightly more intimidating for evil-doers to bother with vs 2… I’m just being picky…. Overall 1750 looks like it’s as tough a long case as you can buy today."

"It's a Pelican, what can you say that hasnt been said before. If you value your things, put it in a Pelican. There's nothing better for storage and travel. Period."

Poor Foam finish

"Pelican 1750 Long Case. Shipping was efficient, but outer cardboard box was damaged in transit. Actual case is solid and foam is of good quality, but one of the latches is very difficult to latch shut/close. Inside the case, the Top egg crated foam (on lid) is good but middle dense foam had worse than expected finish (cut) and fit. It appears that some of the middle foam edges had egg crate cuts (see pictures), so the foam was not a tight fit with the inner edge of the case. The bottom dense foam was not cut to fit well against the inner wheel wells, so I had to cut the foam to fit the wheel wells better. I feel for the price of this high quality case the dense foam should be cut to fit properly and the final Quality Inspection check should have seen this and replaced this damaged foam with properly cut and fit foam."

1750

"This case was purchased for my Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus. For those wondering, you will have to break down the gun to fit it in the case. But once broke down, very easy to add choke tubes, hand guns, ammunition boxes, etc. this case has worked amazing so far and will be used for traveling by car and plane. I would recommend this case for anybody looking for a hard waterproof case good for duck hunting (any hunting), trap shooting, or for anything sport (rifles)."

I love pelican but

"I received two cases with the same deformity (the replacement had the same deformity) and ultimately had to just keep a deformed one after spending a lot of money. ."

Love pelicans!

"Great case, I wish there was an option for convoluted foam top and bottom. Would make it much easier for use as a rifle case, when the user has more than a few rifles and needs a travel case that can take whatever is needed on this trip, without having to recut or replace foam."
