"My wife is a professional makeup artist and uses this Pelican case to haul all of her makeup and gear around. Over the past 10 years, she’s gone through at least seven different cases, and most simply haven’t held up to the constant use and abuse. So far, this one has been a different story. It’s durable, sturdy, and has held up extremely well. For anyone who regularly transports makeup or other professional gear, this case is definitely worth considering."

"I love pelican products, I have their phone case and several boxes. While they are expensive I continue to buy them because ive never had them fail me, they look good and they actually feel quality unlike other brands. Im also a mobile boat mechanic and use some of their boxes for tools on the go ( mainly my electronics) and they too have never failed me. Sometimes I wish that pelican would sponsor me a big box like their bx255 or really any of their cargo series so I can ditch my current tool storage and just use pelican."
"I recently bought the 1595 trvl and was hoping it would be comparable to my Atx 22” that I bought as well and was a bit dissatisfied. The Atx has a much better travel lining inside, the case is sleeker, and my biggest issue is the handle on the 1595 vs Atx. The Atx has a decent, but not amazing, aluminum handle that’s retractable at different points but the 1595 is fully plastic and flimsy, which is just poor in my opinion. With 40lbs in it, the flex in the handle is noticeable and it is awkward to handle. They sell a replacement with stages, but it is also plastic. The latches are also noticeably lower quality than the Atx. Although it may not be fully comparable to the atx I am happy with pelicans strength. No issues with international travel with the case either. Overall 4 stars but definitely could use some improvement."
"I always use pelican at work for everyday use and finally ordered a case for my firearms. Unfortunately it came a little damaged as the sticker had peeled off the case and I was unable to put it back on."

"I purchase this case for one purpose, transport my firearm in check-in baggage when air traveling. I packed my battle belt and edc holster into the large packing cube. Eye and ear pro, and speed loader went into the small packing cube. I also packed five boxes of ammunition into the 1595. The overall weight was well under the 50-lb limit. I’m glad for the durability and peace of mind of the case protecting all of my items."
"I travel a great deal and after going through 3 sets of luggage in 2 years I’ve switched to pelicans and will never look back. The fact that they are field repairable is a must for me. And now I never worry about how my luggage will arrive at my destination."
