"It's Pelican. It's perfect."
"Absolutely great. Tool it to a job in Florida all the same that i had the week before in my packout but 30 pounds lighter"
"Its not built as well as the older style cases. The parts are smaller, lighter and feel less durable and more flimsy. We shall see how it holds up. Hopefully stands true to the Pelican brand rep."
"My wife wanted a new carryon to replace one that was the traditional nylon over metal frame construction. We looked at various hardside models from other suppliers that were made of cheap thin plastic shells or aluminum. They looked very cheap. Even though they were $150-200. We already own several Pelican cases including a long rifle cases that has been to Africa and back. The 1535 Travel case was pricy but it will definitely last us the rest of our lives. After it arrived a few days later we were so impressed with the quality that we ordered another one!! Both Oxblood color. They will easily stand out on the luggage carousels in a sea of black cases. One note: The current production models DO HAVE a small TSA lock built into the press and pull latch. Many pix from internet sellers show the case without the lock. Some other Pelican cases have a huge TSA lock several inches long. This one is much smaller and better."
"Great product built Great. The only problem is have is it to small to pack a week of cloth in it. Im looking for a bigger one now since its to small."
"Nice case but it’s way overpriced"
"Great case, but as expensive as this case was, I was disappointed that this case did not come with the foam set for the inside. At just under $400, I was super bummed to have to hassle with finding and buying the foam as an add-on, which cost another $82. 95+tax."
"Makes you want to travel"
"Like any pelican case, its totally solid. The lid organizer is really nice, and is secured really well. Im worried it would dangle or be floppy, and not at all. Its very well secured to the lid and goes all the way to the edges. I would have no reservations storing a laptop inside there. The case itself is solid, and the TSA locks are really nice as a deterrent, but wouldnt stop anyone with a hammer if they just stole your whole case. Great for airport theft deterrent though! The zipper cubes are a nice touch, but I wish they were the depth of the case, but theyre a few inches shorter. Probably so you can fit larger things at the bottom of the case underneath the cubes. The handle and wheels are great, and dont feel cheap. The rubbery wheels seem like they wont crack over time, which is awesome."
"I think it’s a good product but definitely not worth the price tag"
