"There was enough room for my Magic Mouse, charger, and charging cable. I added some polyethylene foam to bring the laptop higher for a snug fit when the case is closed. The case looks fantastic and has the amount of rugged design I was looking for. I’m ready to take it car camping and not worry a bit about what may be stacked on top of it!"

Although I just received the product and I’m completing this review so I will stop receiving requests to do so, in the 10 days I have been in my possession I am satisfied. "The case is what I expect from Pelican - good quality. There is major problem though. The latches are difficult to open. Why design a latch with a complicated lift up requirement to unlatch? Especially, when the lift up process often doesnt work."
"The case itself is great, I would have been better off with a few layers of thinner foam. Most laptops are very thin, Mac’s being about the thinnest out there. Playing with the pick and pull foam was a pain, in order to keep my laptop from moving around inside the case I had to pull out the majority of the pick and pull in one piece and cut of about 1/2” of its height without it pulling apart. Better options for the foam filler would have made for a five star review. Again the case itself is great, though and worth getting if you need that kind of protection. Just be mindful of what is in it for foam and what you need."
"Pelican cases are probably the best on the market. However, when my case arrived the box had torn open and there was no filler or protection for the case. The box it came in was of poor quality to say the least."
"No laptop but I use this case for transporting my competition pistols. I like not having to carry padlocks due to the built in latch locks. This keeps the case lighter especially when traveling by airplane. This one is a replacement I bought because I lost two in a wildfire recently. Only improvements would be closed cell foam."
