"Seems sturdy. Im not convinced about the hinge mechanism--whether it is truly durable and will last, as I flipped the lid open and it seems a little questionable. Inside, it has a rubber-like lining that keeps gear from sliding around when you move the case. I do wish the handles were bigger, as I cant get my fingers through them to establish a firm grip."
"This holds my portable ash tray, 2 to 3 torches, 4-5 cigars, and the humidifier pack. Thats just how I have it configured. Its a decent size but its not heavy. Durable construction and does well with TSA when I travel. I highly recommend it."
"I have the R40 and have grown out of it. I use these Rucks as my travel humidor (cigars) and there are times I carry more sticks than the 40 can handle. My personal use of these cases are I have no worries of it’s contents. They won’t get smashed, wet, or bent. The top plate carries my lighter and cutter and the webbing on the cover has a few Boveda packs to keep everything nice and cozy! My advice for fellow cigar aficionados, if you think the R40 is a perfect size for a travel humidor, get the R60! Thank you Pelican 🤙🏽"

"This is a tough review, only because the case itself is awesome. However, for practical purposes, the required rooftop mount is way too expensive in my opinion, and pushes the value down because it nearly doubles the cost of purchase. If a mounting option was available in a sub-$100 range, this case would have it all!"
"Buying the R60 for a traveling cigar case was the best decision I made. Although Pelican recommended the R40, I wanted more room for larger cigars and the R60 still gives my largest cigars (Churchill size) 3/4 of an inch left in the case. Cigar sizes ranging from Toro to Churchill and filling it to the top along, with the orange elastic top cover, I can fit approximately 16 cigars. Also the tray is includes 3 straps which hold my cutter and lighter. Love this product and recommend it to all cigar lovers."
