"The previous carbon fiber model felt a little bit better to me. I do like the angled corners on the new one. But the charging port cover folds up toward you, which means you have to hold it with your left hand while you plug it in or rather than flipping down the easy door that it used to have. I still feel confident that it will survive a drop. I just preferred the previous model. I’m still a dedicated pelican customer."
"I installed it, then when I wanted to remove it, it was a titanic task, super difficult, there I realized how fragile the internal part of the case was, since it broke during the process. . it looks strong, but I was very disappointed."

"This case fit the phone perfectly and holds the phone securely in place. The belt clip is easy to manipulate and allows for its use as a stand to hold the phone when needed. Overall I rate it at 5 stars and highly recommended this case"
"Solid, grippy and lightweight. Less bulky than my previous Pelican case for iPhone 13, no extra latches, looks like same durability. The USB flap will likely fall off (again) after years of use, but thats how hingeless flaps work."

"I bought this Pelican case for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max because Otterbox didn’t have the belt clip with their case anymore. I was a big Otterbox fan but I like to keep my iPhone on my hip & I didn’t want to pay extra for the belt holster. So I was at a Verizon store looking at their cases for my new iPhone. I saw that Pelican had this case. Well instead of buying it from the Verizon store I bought the case direct from Pelican. com because it was going to be a while before my phone was shipped. Plus Pelican gave me a Veteran discount. Love this case"
