Mpb35

"I originally ordered the 25 but settled on the 35. My reasoning behind that was because the 25 looked tiny on my back and seemed a little small for it. I need it for I’m 6 to 240 pounds with a decently athletic build. The 35 foot holds everything I need for traveling when it comes to clothes for a two day trip or the extra stuff for hikes. I’ve tried many brands for coolers and bags. I’ve migrated to Pelican. I have two bags and a new 14 qt cooler."

Great pack

"The backpack is lightweight and compact, but I wish it was 1-2"" wider to fit my computer with another pocket or two."

Have been waiting for this

"Have been waiting for this to come back in stock. Good quality bag. Zippers are strong with water resistant protection if needed. More comfortable on my shoulders than my old backpack when weighted down."

Best for daily use

"Is well made if a little pricy. Side pockets are too loose and in need of a couple straps to secure things in them. . . such as water bottles or a tripod. Would be nice to have a ""secret"" pocket somewhere to hide a passport or some cash. Backpack is probably not suited for ""trekking"". . . more suited for ""day hikes"". I have not had a chance to use it fully loaded. . . so am not sure how it performs under those conditions."

My new favorite backpack

"I’ve had a few backpacks over the years, including the old Pelican U105. The U105 has been my favorite work backpack for many years. It does a great job of protecting electronic gear in transit. I broke the internal frame on the U105 and Pelican replaced it free of charge (they’re serious about their warranties!). I keep the U105 clean so it looks good for professional meetings, etc. But I’ve been needing another backpack that I can use for biking, train trips, small trips to the grocery store, traveling with my laptop, and for quick overnight trips. The MPB35 is perfect for that. And it’s more rugged than the U105 in some ways. Great design. The top pocket gives you easy access to phone, keys, wallet, sunglasses, and the side pockets actually hold water bottles securely. There’s a nylon wrap at the bottom of the laptop slot which keeps the laptop from touching the ground if you drop the backpack on a hard surface- really cool feature that is not obvious. I couldn’t decide between the MPB25 and MPB35. Glad I went with the 35. It doesn’t look bulky when it’s empty, and the extra space means I can travel with more gear and clothing with no issue. You can buy a backpack for half the price, but you’ll probably end up replacing it and spending more in the long run."

Backpack

"It is awesome, Quality is top notch, Zippers are of good quality, just wish the compartments where a little bit bigger. Overall I give this backpack a 10."

Great pack but it did

"Great pack but it did not show up i time for a key trip. Four srar experience overall. However, they came through the second time and gave me a discount coupon which covered my freght, Everybody has delineated the good points of the pack. I like the laptop section, It has a spot for the chargin brick, but it needed to be mounted higher so the laptop will lie flat on both surfaces I am fortunate that my work laptop is not longer. I can fit my little VAIO 12"" in the tablet sleeve. Main zippers have some sharp curves to work around. May just be stiff. Harder to operate than I iike. Overall it is pretty damn good."
