Quality is lacking
"The Pelican label is crooked. The rear lip of the cargo case seals with a larger gap than the front. Also there is not a clean exterior to case. It is covered with what I would call plastic molding welds lines. The lines are rough and uneven in some areas and smooth in others… but these lines impact the aesthetic of the case big time. Pictures posted on the website do not appear to have these lines. Overall I am really shocked that they are selling this. In the past they made quality products."

Box functions as expected, visual quality control a disappointment
"I should have taking the warning of a previous reviewers who mentioned visual quality control issues. I ordered two boxes and on one of them the logo is completely crooked. Both boxes look really cheap and sloppy around the ""seams"" -- not to mentioned they arrived pretty scratched up in spots. Youd expect when paying over $1000 for two boxes and their mounts that youd get a product that looks and feels like its quality. However these do not reflect the insane cost nor match the Pelican reputation that drove me to buy these in the first place. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere especially considering the money these demand. If each box was $100 Id consider them."

Mediocre to say the best.
"Warranty information on website doesn’t have a drop-down for the BX Series. In addition, lid doesn’t square up with the base and a painted series of numbers inside the case are smeared whereas you can’t make out the numbers. I would recommend a better quality control system before the product is shipped out the door."

Works well enough for what was needed
"This unit fits under the shortest part of the rollnlock tonneau cover that i have had difficulty finding storage for. Lots of options for large trucks (uws) but not midsized tacoma."

One oversight by Pelican
"Overall, a quality product. BUT the wire retaining straps should be longer so that when open, this lid isnt essentially vertical. The problem is this thing is on the roof of a vehicle, which means the user is probably standing on something while trying to get stuff in or out, and the slightest rocking motion or breeze means the lid falls on your fingers, arms, head etc."

Cargo case
"Really well built case and the seal and latch mechanism make sure everything stays dry. I bought mounting kit to mount to a prinsu rack. Kits installed with ease. Lock opening on case latch could be bigger, I just used a smaller lock. Great case."
