Good product with Room for improvement

"I like the size of the cargo case the best. It fits everything I need it to and more. This size case is much better than the newer Pelican Crate system. The latches are nice quality but they should be larger to accommodate a standard padlock rather than just the travel sized locks. The box link connectors for a Ford truck bed are why I bought this case to begin with but it appears they no longer make them and I can’t find any on the secondary market."

Bx255 cargo case

"Great case. Packed it thoroughly for trip to South Dakota. Endured rain and snow. No leaks. The only thing I find wrong is the lid needs to be sturdier for stacking heavy items on it"

I was disappointed that the

"I was disappointed that the Ford F-150 custom mounting brackets were discontinued. They would work perfectly to secure the BX255 case in the bed of the truck. Why discontinue a part that you already spent money to design and develop? I bought the BX255 in spite of that, but I looked around for an alternative first. You probably don’t want your customers trying to find your competition. Bring back the custom mount - it’s a value-add to the BX255 for any Ford F150 owner."

Great Dry Box Storage Chest

"It does what it needs to do and that’s keep my gear dry from the elements, size is decent, fits a good amount of things. The lid could use a redesign for future boxes, something more practical and convenient. Overall very happy with my purchase. Would recommend if you on the fence for buying one to do it you won’t regret it."

"I thought for the money i would be getting something that was a little more than a water proof plastic box with handles and some latchs. Probably wouldnt have bought this if i had laid my hands on prior to purchasing. In this case definitely paid for the name not the box."

BX255 Cargo Case, Black month after owning.

"The BX255 cargo box itself is a perfect fit for my Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 bed. It holds all my off-roading/camping supplies in one storage box. I have been using Pelican cargo and cases since my field days in the U. S. Army. I wanted to try out a civilian version of these cargo cases, so after purchased the BX255 cargo box. I was very happy with the size but very disappointed with the top lid. if seems to be of very thin quality of plasitc not Heavy duty for which i am used to of. with these cases in the past, this lid im scared to put any weight into the top of this case, for which it may crack or break. I would expect that for what i paid for this case, the top lid would be very heavy-duty and would not sag down. this was noticed straight out of the box. For this reason, is why i rate this with 3 stars out of five."

Great Case - Tough Latch Mechanism for Locks

"The case is big, durable, and fits well with the look of my truck. It is a great accessory. The additional attachments used to bolt the case to the truck were easy to use and install. The only issue I have is the size of the hole around the five latches for adding a lock. The holes are too small for most commercial locks which make it hard to find the right size. I had to use cheap, small locks for now until I hopefully find a better solution. If this hole was a little bigger, it would allow for the use of stronger, more durable locks."
