Reviews
Satisfactory
"What do I like: Size, construction, not having a drain plug to leak or lose, color, feet, made in USA. What is less to like: cost, lid insulation seems weak, lid seal had a gap meaning it was not glued / fused together I re-applied to close the gap as much as possible, I know its designed to fit behind my sedans seat but I needed it to be in trunk: fell over and leaked water. Ill drive more carefully but a no leaker would be nice. didnt retain ice as well as I expected. all in all I am happy with my purchase."

First Pelican Cooler
"I wanted an American made, durable and easy to grab cooler. There’s a ton of options out there, and at first I totally overlooked Pelican as a candidate. After quite a bit of research, I thought I had a brand nailed down. Turns out, they ceased manufacturing in America and didn’t tell anyone. I canceled the order and started a new search. That’s when I lucked into Pelican. I ordered the 20qt cooler and it came in less than a week. It’s very strong, has a comfortable handle that will stay in place in the up-right position, is actually bear/critter proof due to locking tabs instead of rubber pull tabs, and is American made. I tested it out a week ago and was legitimately impressed at its capability. I did not pre-chill it and packed it full of drinks, sandwiches, dips and some fruit which only allowed me to fit a little less than a 6lb bag of ice. After 7 hours, I had minimal ice melt and everything was very cold. The drinks on top of the ice had a little slushy to them! I can’t wait to test it out on longer trips and harsher conditions in the near future."

Perfect for the service truck
"I needed a cooler that could sit in my truck under the extreme heat and keep my lunch cool. Service technician and there were times my cooler will sit in the truck all day long. At lunchtime, everything is just as cold as it was in the morning. At the end of the day when I come home, I still have a boatload of ice, frozen inside of it. Customer service I must give a shout out. It was fantastic. Good luck"

Great cooler. No drain plug
"Great cooler, holds ice and keeps things cold a long time. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because there is no drain plug. Seriously why design a $200+ cooler without a drain plug? 🤯 I think Pelican should redesign this cooler and only change adding a drain plug then send the updated model to all customers that bought this current version to make it right"

Badass Cooler
"Makes me feel like a Founding Father every time I open it and take out an ice cold bronson. ."

Seems legit
"Seems a lot more sturdy than the 14qt I have. First used it to keep some seafood frozen during a 10 hour trip. Worked great with just the frozen fish and about a cup of ice. No complaints."
