"The molle panel seems very robust and well thought out. I have mine mounted in a brand new 1650 that I bought at the same time and the fitment is perfect. All of the bad reviews stating that trimming is needed is likely for an older model case and the tolerances are likely off as there was no trimming needed for mine."

"I like the panel however it doesn’t fit my 1650 case. My case is older so I’m guessing that’s the issue. So I’m in the fitting stage of install. I’m having to belt sand the outer edges to make it fit. Other than that I like it. IMO the sizing could be a little more forgiving."

"It was exactly what i needed for my setup . But I had to trim a 1/4 inch off the entire outside edge in order for it to fit in the lid properly . I have a Pelican 1650 case so i shouldnt have hade to trim anything . Fortunately I own a Dremel and it made this a hole lot easier. Other than that I love it ."
"The panel was oversized and did not fit without trimming all four size. After trimming about 1/8” off all the way around, it fit but clamps required adjusting. Overall it works well and is secure."
