"Very durable build, I have several layers of kit stored in it including a large projector, microphones, lighting equipment and accompanying cables, all snug in fitting foam. It is heavy and bulky but that is part of what gives me confidence in the safety of the equipment stored within. Ill be traveling to over a hundred cities loading this in and out from RV to venue and back and feel confident in the sturdiness of the latches, etc."
"They say if a nuclear bomb hits that the only things left will be cockroaches and my Pelican 1640 Protector. The fit and finish is like no other. You can tell this thing is tough as soon as you see it and touch it. There is no doubt , my contents (computer tower and other components) are well protected. The inside is well cushioned. The website described the dimensions and its a perfect fit. Very happy. Much bigger than my original Pelican 1400."
